£5,000 donated to local food bank

The Big Eat 2024 had over 28,000 people through the doors to celebrate the culinary delights of street food traders from across Hampshire.

The food festival has always been a non-profit event, free to attend to the public with all profits being donated to local food banks.

In 2024 due to the success of the festival we were able to donate £5,000 to Hound Basics Food Bank in Southampton. The project provides food and essential items for people across Netley Abbey, Hamble & Bursledon. Based in The Haven, Netley Abbey, the team also provides a Job Club offering free, practical help for jobseekers.
